Things to do while flying

There are things you must do while flying to help stop the spread of H1N1 flu:

* Wash your hands often with soap and water. This removes germs from your skin.

* Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze.

* If a passenger does not have a tissue, he must cough or sneeze into his upper sleeve, not his hands.

* Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth after that as germs spread that way.

* Try to avoid close contact with sick people (within 6 feet).

* After your trip, closely monitor your health for a week.

Influenza is thought to spread mainly person-to-person through coughing or sneezing of infected people. The current human-to-human transmission of swine flu is caused by droplet spread through the contact with infected body fluids as in saliva or mucus when sneezing.
